Taiwan president vows to defend sovereignty after China drills

President Lai Ching-te said the world is ⁠watching to see ‍whether the Taiwanese people possess the resolve to defend themselves. Meanwhile, Beijing said the eventual annexation of Taiwan is "unstoppable."
